Colour swap

I recently took part in the Colour Swap that was organised by Dolly Dollop.
I was partnered with Tracy from Mad About Bags.
Tracy had told me she had sent it in a pink bag,
so when I saw the postie heading for our house with a pink parcel
I knew exactly what it was.
This is what it contained.............

a lovely wrapped parcel in green garden paper

a wonderful tote bag with an amazing flower,
the lining is green polka dot
and contains some handy pockets as well
I love it!

inside the bag were these parcels
what do they contain?

a lovely coaster, purple one side and green the other

this amazing flower,
These two items are new makes for Tracy
and I definately think she should
be putting some in her Misi Shop
some lovely smellies, have you noticed the butterfly!

a great selection of flowers and leaves.
I think I might turn these into a bag charm
to go with my lovely new bag.
Here is a pic of all my goodies together,
I was very lucky and a big thankyou
to Tracy for being so kind.
I must also mention the lovely card which was
made by another Misi seller
Lou from Looby Crafts
You may be wondering what I sent to Tracy for our swap.
I took a few photos before I packaged it all up.
This is what her box contained.

A pretty bracelet, made with some of the flower beads
I received in a pay it forward from
Tracy had admired them on my blog
so I thought it would be nice to make
her something using some of them.
A beaded bookmark, to mark the page in her current read.
I broke up the green with some pink beads,
picking our the colours in the flower bead.
A crochet bird, my first attempt at crocheting.
I was so pleased with how this turned out.

A lovely waterlily candle
and finally a polka dot notebook,
which her daughter Rachel has already acquired!!
The swap has been great fun and I would just like to thank
Tracy for being my partner and Clare for oranising the swap.

  1. Lovely swap items - the bag you received is gorgeous. My favourite item though? Naturally your crocheted bird!
